Dr. Schuh garners high praise for her highly professional, yet personal, approach to patient care. She treats each person she cares for as a unique individual, and her high standards are legendary, as is her ability to work with patients to achieve a common goal.
Dr. Schuh earned her medical degree from Washington University, where she is now a clinical instructor. As such, she plays a pivotal role in helping train the next generation of surgical oncologists. Dr. Schuh completed her internship and residency in surgery at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis and had her work honored by being selected chief resident. For her fellowship in surgical oncology, she chose Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, N. Y., where she held a staff position in the Breast Clinic. While at the Cancer Institute, her research merited a number of published articles in peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Schuh’s commitment to education extends to the greater community as well. She speaks at area cancer prevention and awareness programs and is active in the American Cancer Society, St. Louis Cancer Foundation, and American Society of Breast Disease. She has also been named on St. LouisMagazine’s “St. Louis Best Doctor” list.
Dr. Schuh is certified by the American Board of Surgery, is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and is a member of the Society of Surgical Oncology. She is licensed to practice medicine in Missouri and New York.
Dr. Schuh leads an active life outside of the practice. She is a superb photographer, and several of her works grace our walls. Her love of outdoor activities includes biking, golf, and travel.
